Nutrition for People With Disabilities (Dinner Served Daily)

Contento Restaurant takes great pride in offering nutrient-rich meals daily on-site at Access Initiatives that would not otherwise be available to its members. This service is life-changing to those who cannot cook for themselves, rely on hired aids that only provide basic meals, and for those who do not have the means to eat quality balanced nutritional food daily.

In 2021, Contento was voted by The New York Times as one of the top ten new restaurants in NYC, and Esquire Magazine voted Contento one of the top 40 restaurants in America!

The Need.

Individuals with physical disabilities make up the largest minority group in the United States. There is an imperative need for people with disabilities to engage in a healthy lifestyle, not only for their physical health, but their spiritual and emotional well-being. People with disabilities with proper assistance and motivation are more likely to pursue an education, strive for career and job opportunities, and importantly become active members in their community.
